Консоль выпускается в трёх вариациях: версия с 64 Гб памяти (очень мало места для игр, сразу нужна флешка), 256 Гб и 512 Гб. Рассматривать к покупке рекомендую экземпляры от 256 Гб, потому что в самой младшей, помимо малого объёма SSD, ещё и сам жесткий диск установлен с медленными характеристиками чтения/записи, так что игры будут устанавливаться и запускаться дольше.
Если вы хотите немного сэкономить, можно купить Steam Deck с 64 Гб, и поменять SSD на другой, с нужным вам объёмом памяти. Можно даже 2 Терабайта запихнуть, при желании. Заменить SSD можно в домашних условиях, ничего сложного в этой процедуре нет при наличии более-менее прямых рук и гайдов с YouTube.
Можно установить на консоль полноценную Windows и вообще пользоваться гаджетом как настоящим компьютером, включая торренты, офисные приложения, и всё прочее. Мне нравится оболочка SteamOS, поэтому я так не экспериментировал.
Можно поставить на Steam Deck различные твики и улучшайзеры, чтобы менять интерфейс, заставки, звуковое оформление, вручную задавать настройки fps, частоту вращения встроенного кулера, даже можно разгонять процессор.
У меня есть PlayStation (Xbox, Nintendo Switch). Стоит ли покупать Steam Deck?

В конце-концов, на Steam Deck можно ставить даже взломанные игры с торрентов и вообще ни за что не платить. Лично я так не делаю, потому что считаю поддержку рублём разработчика, сделавшего хорошую игру, благородным поступком.

Guys, before you choose one mini itx case for yourself, here are a few quick things that you need to know.
So, now that you have made up your mind to buy an ITX case, let’s get into the detailed reviews of individual cases along with their pros and cons. As mentioned earlier, you can choose your budget option and find what’s the best SFF case you can get for your money.
Case & Build Components
Fitting and cooling high end components in a compact mini-itx case raises some issues. You really have to plan your build and component selection ahead of time. That is why you see an Intel Core i7-7700 instead of a 7700K, and a GTX 1060 Mini instead of a full sized version with a beefy cooler.
For the case I am sticking with the S4 Mini. This is still my favorite mini itx case by far. It is extremely compact but you can fit some pretty powerful components inside.
One of the best things about modern CPU’s and GPU’s is there efficiency. The amount of power you can get from a 120W GPU, and a 65W CPU is downright impressive.

What To Look For in Your Mini-itx PC Case
Motherboard Compatibility
This is obviously the most important factor to consider when you’re shopping for a PC case. All of the cases I feature here are compatible with Mini ITX boards, but the cases you find might not be.
Being gung-ho and buying the first case you see is going to result in you buying something that doesn’t fit with your hardware, essentially wasting upwards of $100.
All PC cases will tell you what size motherboard it’s built for, whether on the box or on the webpage. Give it a read before you buy so that you can make sure you’re getting the right size for your overall setup.
Build and Customization
Making sure that your case is compatible with your motherboard is a necessity. However, the build and customization of the case aren’t.
You could buy a bog-standard PC case and treat it like a plug-and-play. That’s not fun, though, and if you’re spending four digits on building a PC tower, you should want it to be perfect.
Therefore, make sure you actually like the build of the case that you’re buying. Have a look at it from all angles, consider any tempered glass panels that it has, whether it comes with RGB or supports a liquid cooling system.
Better yet, some cases are actually completely customizable. Sometimes you get additional options in the box, but you have even more options if you have a 3D printer at home.

Fan Support
This might come as a shock, but PC parts get super hot. All that electricity running through your components is going to heat them right up. Given that these components are made up of fragile and costly materials, you want to stop them from melting.
To do this, you have two options:
- Either you use a cooling system,
- Or you can install fans.
You can do both, but that’s overkill.
Most people tend to use fans to keep their PC cool, so that’s what we’re focusing on.

PC cases are built in a way to fit a specific number of hardware components, including fans. So, you need to make sure there’s enough space for all the fans you need inside your case.
Front Ports
Last but not least, let’s talk about the ports that are on the case’s front panel. Typically, you’re going to get a handful of USB slots and a space for audio input. Given that these cases are designed with specific motherboards in mind, you shouldn’t have too much trouble here.
However, it’s still important to make sure that you have enough ports to cover everything you need to connect.
You might need a USB slot for your mouse, keyboard, headphones, and microphone, as well as a capture card and whatever other accessories you feel like hooking up.

Неттоп – это, как правило, готовая платформа: своя материнская плата, распаянный процессор и фиксированная система охлаждения. Поэтому не надо путать его с мини-ПК формата Mini-ITX, где плату и пр. можно выбрать отдельно. Подавляющее большинство неттопов продается именно в виде платформ, в которые надо самостоятельно установить оперативную память, диск (или SSD) и иногда WiFi-адаптер. В дальнейшем эти компоненты можно заменять самостоятельно. Впрочем, интеграторы и розничные продавцы почти всегда имеют в ассортименте несколько укомплектованных моделей, полностью готовых к работе.
Таким образом, если у вас отказало что-то кроме заменяемых памяти или накопителя, то менять придется неттоп целиком, причем ремонтировать его будут в сервисе. Нельзя, как у ПК, быстро заменять вышедший из строя компонент и вернуть компьютер в работу. Впрочем, неттопы стоят довольно дешево, что позволяет закупить пару-тройку штук про запас. В случае выхода из строя достаточно переставить диск в другой такой же неттоп и система запустится.
Но важно понимать, что от принципа «в любом магазине купим и сами поменяем» (или у поставщика получим, непринципиально) мы переходим к принципу «выходит из строя вся система, а ремонтируют ее в официальном сервисе». В общем, вместо самостоятельного ремонта – замена целиком и ремонт в специализированном сервисе
Таким образом, неттоп — более аккуратная и изящная, предсказуемая в работе и обслуживании (если под руками нет квалифицированного мастера) система, которая еще и позволяет сэкономить место на столе или под ним. Плюс, с помощью неттопа легко организовать рабочее место под несложные обычные офисные задачи, когда городить огород с огромным ПК просто неэффективно.
Ноутбук
Что появилось на свет раньше: настольный компьютер или ноутбук? Эти споры ведутся на форумах до сих пор, но, конечно же, это десктоп. Однако появление ноутбуков не заставило себя долго ждать, поскольку это полная противоположность громоздкой стационарной груде железа. Лэптоп – тот же настольный компьютер, только переносной. Плюсы и минусы у него абсолютно противоположные. Из-за своей портативности и небольших размеров он не может похвастаться высокой производительностью. Связано это с вышеупомянутым тепловыделением, с которым компактные системы охлаждения не могут справиться.
Даже самые мощные игровые ноутбуки не могут сравниться по мощности со средними десктопными решениями. К слову, лэптоп – это общее понятие, которое включает в себя такие портативные устройства, как ноутбук, нетбук, ультрабук. Разница между ними, как правило, сводится к размерам гаджета. Остальные различия вторичны.
Второй минус портативных устройств – сложность апгрейда. Здесь всё снова упирается в габариты. Во-первых, чтобы уместить в небольшом тонком корпусе так много комплектующих (видеокарта, процессор, носитель информации, оперативная память, материнская плата и т.д.), производителям приходится делать очень плотную компановку. Из-за этого до необходимой комплектующей можно добраться, только разобрав весь корпус. Во-вторых, рынок начинки для лэптопов не такой большой, как выбор полноразмерных комплектующих для стационарных ПК. Это приводит к тому, что при апгрейде пользователю практически невозможно подобрать что-то подходящее по совместимости под остальные компоненты.
Габариты – главный камень преткновения современных компьютеров, который приводит к множеству проблем. Случаи поломки системы охлаждения – распространенная проблема у владельцев лэптопов. Связано это с конструктивными особенностями вентиляторов. Чем больше лопасти, тем меньше оборотов нужно вертушке, чтобы создать массивный поток воздуха. Чем ниже обороты, тем меньше нагрузка на подшипник. В компактных системах кулеры соответственно небольшие, а значит их поломка – дело времени.
Однако портативности у ноутбуков есть еще один важный плюс – возможность автономной работы. Наличие аккумулятора позволяет современным лэптопам работать несколько часов без источника питания. Конечно, настольные компьютеры тоже это умеют, но только с источником бесперебойного питания.
Более того, в комплектацию переносных компьютеров включены все необходимые периферийные устройства: тачпад в качестве мыши, экран и клавиатура. Вместе с автономной работой и удобностью транспортировки это смотрится очень привлекательно для тех, кто не находится много времени в одном месте и предпочитает работать вдали от розетки: в поезде, самолете, кафе или коворкинге.

Tight on the budget? Don’t worry. You can still get a good mini itx case for as low as just $50. Though you may have to sacrifice some of the fuller size components, their smaller counterparts will fit right in.
These have small form factor and still, support both air and liquid cooling systems. For gaming needs, they can also easily contain graphics cards up to 11 inches in length.
As prices are low so there are not many options to choose from. Most of these cases are the affordable versions of their premium counterparts.

1. Cooler Master Elite 110 Cool Mini ITX Case

The first itx case in this section is Cooler Master Elite 110. The engineers at Cooler Master never fail to impress with their products that cheap as well as serve the purpose without many hiccups.

This case is Thermaltake’s answer to Cooler Master Elite 110. The Thermaltake Core V1 is quite similar to the Cooler Master Elite 110 in terms of size and specifications.
While most of the ITX cases are built with aluminum but Thermaltake Core V1 is entirely built with steel. This has two main benefits – first, steel makes this case sturdier and, second, it helps in noise reduction as well. So, with Core V1, you will experience a more silent PC than others.
This small PC case offers two USB 3.0 ports and separate audio i/o jacks. It can easily accommodate two 3.5″ and two 2.5″ drives. Just like the previous one, Thermaltake Core V1 also has dual expansion slots for GPUs up to 255 mm in length.
With enough room for a 200 mm fan (pre-installed) on the front panel and two 80 mm fans on the rear, this mini ITX case can support both air and liquid cooling systems.
A transparent viewing window is present on the top panel for displaying the components inside. The side panels are interchangeable just like the Cooler Master Elite 110.

Last, in this section, the Silverstone SG05 LITE is a quite good choice for its budget. Actually, it is the miniaturized version of the Silverstone SG05 offering almost same features at less than half the cost.
Silverstone SG05 LITE is compatible with both mini ITX as well as mini DTX motherboards. Though the design is not very eye candy, you can definitely build a high-powered gaming PC out of it.
Measuring 11 x 10 x 14 inches, it can support graphics cards up to 10 inches long and the 2.5″/3.5″ hard drives. Also, if you want to fit a CPU cooler inside, make sure it is less than 82 mm in height. In mini itx gaming cases, every millimeter is very important.
Another thing to notice about this mini ITX case is that it supports SFX power supply unit, though, the same comes pre-installed in the native SG05 case.
The SG05 Lite comes with a 120 mm case fan pre-installed on the front panel that ensures positive pressure cooling. The front and side panels have enough vented space for increased ventilation.

Чем сервер отличается от обычного компьютера
Компьютер предназначен для решения задач одного пользователя. Или нескольких пользователей — но по очереди. Поэтому его называют персональным компьютером — ПК.
Серверы — это служебные компьютеры, которые созданы для поддержки большого числа пользователей. Их название происходит от английского to serve, что значит «обслуживать» или «служить». Они способны одновременно запускать множество процессов, сервисов и приложений. У таких машин есть свои особенности.
Большая вычислительная мощность. Для серверов используют специальные комплектующие — например, серверные процессоры и особую оперативную память. Для хранения данных к серверу подключают сразу несколько накопителей, которые вмещают в себя терабайты информации. Все детали рассчитаны на беспрерывную работу и большую нагрузку.
Отказоустойчивость. Сервер должен работать без остановок и сбоёв. Поэтому все системы в нём обычно дублируются. Например, у него может быть две сетевые карты и пара блоков питания. Если одна деталь выйдет из строя, запасная её заменит.
Серверная операционная система. Операционная система — это набор программ, которые управляют всем оборудованием компьютера и служат основой для установки остального ПО. Серверная ОС отличается от пользовательской. На обычных компьютерах будет стоять, например, Windows, а на сервере — Windows Server. Для работы серверной операционной системы потребуется минимум 32 ГБ оперативной памяти.
Удивительно, но Steam Deck не надоедает
Я помню эмоции, которые захватывали меня первое время после покупки Nintendo Switch. Каждую свободную минуту я включал «Зельду» и переносился в волшебный мир Хайрула.
В случае с Steam Deck такого нет. В ассортименте Steam сотни тысяч самых разных игр, включая новинки класса ААА. Большая часть этих игр отлично запускается и играется на портативной консоли, поэтому вопрос «во что бы поиграть?» даже не возникает в голове.
Сейчас я чередую прохождение Cyberpunk 2077 c Need For Speed Unbound и DYSMANTLE, а буквально вчера прикупил ещё и Valheim, рубимся в неё с друзьями в суровом сеттинге северных викингов.
Главное, Steam Deck позволяет играть когда угодно и где угодно. Не нужно быть обязательно дома, занимать телевизор, включать консоль. Можно просто завалиться в кровать и раствориться в одном из игровых миров на полчаса-час перед сном.
Мне такой формат гейминга позволяет не забрасывать прохождения понравившихся игр и не терять желание в них играть.

While it could be a bit cramped, you can surely manage with a Mini ITX case. Some of the best ones I’d recommend for this purpose are the Phanteks Eclipse P200A and the NZXT H210i.While both of these are technically Mini ITX cases, they’re still a bit bigger compared to the others, have ample front I/O, and thus provide more space for you to work with. I will start with the latter because I think I can make it short. The
problem is that it is not short. It has a small footprint on your
desk, which is cool. But with 490 mm, it is taller than a mid-tower
ATX case. At that size, you should consider it as part of your
furniture and if it would fit your overall desk and room setup. The
way I have arranged my desk now, it would probably fit nicely, neatly
tucked away in the corner of my living room on an L-shaped desk
arrangement. It would fill out space in that corner, something other
people do with plants. If that is your goal, then the only thing to
consider is CPU cooling. At 85 mm, you could use a potent top-blower
style cooler. Oh, and install the mesh side panels.
